About us.

"ಕಡವೆ"

The Canvas

We don’t think fashion needs more clothes. But we think the world always needs more art.

Project Kadave wasn’t built to chase trends, fit into rigid seasonal retail calendars, or follow corporate guidelines. It was born out of a desire to create a physical canvas for the things that make us feel alive. We treat apparel not just as a garment to cover a body, but as a vessel—a way to carry a memory, a culture, a split-second in time, or an emotion you forgot you even had.

The Origin: What is Kadave?

Kadave (ಕಡವೆ) is the Kannada word for the Sambar deer. Native to the rugged, forested landscapes of the Western Ghats, the Kadave moves with a quiet, majestic, and unapologetic strength.

That is the energy we build into everything we make. It’s an anchor to our roots, a nod to the places that shaped us, and a reminder that true presence doesn't need to shout to be noticed.

Our Formula: No Rules. No Limits. Just Art.

Every single piece we design starts as a feeling. Sometimes it’s a story, sometimes it’s just a chaotic emotion we couldn't find the exact words for. So we put it on fabric and let it speak for itself.

We draw inspiration from everything around us:

  • The Streets: The unfiltered, kinetic energy of everyday movement.
  • The People: The creators, the thinkers, and the dreamers we meet along the way.
  • The Places: The comforting nostalgia of home, mixed with the grit of the urban landscape.

We stitch all of it into premium, heavy-weight fabrics, designed with deliberate, oversized silhouettes that feel less like a uniform and more like a second skin.

Made for the Art Heads

This space is for you. The ones who wear exactly what they feel. The ones who can look at the everyday chaos and see a masterpiece hidden inside it. The ones who don't need the concept explained, because they just get it.

We release our work in intuitive, purposeful drops. No overproduction. No meaningless hype. Just pure intent, heavy fabric, and a piece of our world sent straight to yours.

Welcome to the project.
